"No- I have Not Quit movies! After a 'spiritual-break' I am back in showbiz and signing films" clarifies celeb-actress Soniya Bansal (Bigg Boss-17) !---What 'advice' did host Salman Khan give her? By Sr. Journalist Chaitanya Padukone

From past seven months there were dozens of national news-media headlines reports, circulating which declared that glamour model-film actress Soniya Bansal ( of Bigg Boss 17 fame) had "quit films and showbiz-- because she had diverted towards the path of seeking spiritual mental peace" !

Speaking exclusively to me on phone, the frank nature Soniya clarified, "Its partially true. Please note I Have Not Quit the showbiz industry, I am still negotiating and being considered for challenging roles in feature films and for OTT series. Like in the past I am once again open to acting in movies and being a contestant for TV reality shows  Yes I had taken a six-months spiritual brief-break and visited pilgrimage locations, met spiritual mentors. In fact I read lots of religious sacred books and acquired spiritual soulful knowledge ( aatma-gyaan)  and enlightenment and mastered the art of inner-peace meditation.  I have also become a Life Coach and a Spiritual Healer with a different positive, practical outlook towards destiny and life ," shares Soniya who takes pride in disclosing, that she belongs to  Agra--the city of Taj Mahal heritage wonder-monument and has now made Mumbai Mayanagari her work-destination !

Continues Soniya, "But I want all my Six Million plus followers and Loyal Fans and the Bollywood and South Indian film industry to know that I am Back in show-biz with a big-bang . That I have definitely Not Quit Acting in films or music-videos. Currently I am looking for fantastic Challenging bold yet dignified lead roles which could be positive, with negative-shades, romantic and even action-oriented , " insists  vivacious glamour brands-fashion model, show-stopper tall ramp model  and amazing actress Soniya Bansal ! Whose dream-wish is to work someday as an actress with 'showman' film-maker Sanjay Leela Bhansali. "Thats because SLB Sir's iconic movies and even his OTT show Heeramandi have strong heroine-centric lead female characters" !  Since acting has been my passion-skill. I am more of a director's actress," discloses the zestful Soniya who is all set to play rang-barse off-screen with organic colors on Holi festival day-- with lots of josh--during early next week !

 Having showcased her glamour looks and acting skills in Hindi movies and South Indian  (Telugu) regional films, and several music-videos, dynamic Soniya carved out a distinct identity for herself by participating in the popular reality show Bigg Boss 17. Although her journey on the show was short, as she was eliminated within two weeks, her dynamic attractive personality left a special place in the hearts of millions of viewers.

The style-icon Soniya has shared that being a part of *Bigg Boss-17* and interacting with show-host superstar Salman Khan was a matter of pride for her. She did not make any special preparations for it; rather, the opportunity came to her by chance, and she accepted it with full confidence. She described it as a learning experience as highly inspiring and mentioned that she shared a strong bond with fellow contestant Khanzaadi, which made her journey smoother.

What was show mentor-host mega-star Salman Khan's special advice to her during her Bigg Boss 17 reality show participation and exit ? " As I have said earlier, it was my honour to be part of the Bigg Boss show and to interact with mega-star Salman Khan--who advised to be always be optimistic and never lose hope and never to fall below One's own expectations. 'Apna-time-bhi-aayega'-- should be your hope-mantra, " Salman Sir said to me.!
"Do you know just few hours before before my BB-17 elimination, I could sense that something is wrong, I had a strong divine prompting me, that there was possibly some scheming conspiracy from within the house, to get me eliminated," discloses Madame Bansal.

Soniya believes that to succeed in a popular competitive reality show, it is essential to be physically and mentally fit. She said that if she gets another opportunity to participate in a reality show, she will prepare herself to be even fitter and mentally stronger.

Among her favorite Bollywood artistes talented Soniya admires the powerful roles portrayed by Sunny Deol and appreciates the confidence and personality of  iconic actresses Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt  and Deepika Padukone. She believes that learning something new every day and continuously improving oneself is the true mantra of starry success.
